Many of our Olympic cycling stars, such as Anna Meares, came from our grass roots cycling program. And many have had the amazing experience to travel the world competing in cycling events.

Junior State Track Championships
Anyone can give track cycling a go. Junior Classes are held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the Speed Dome.

Furthermore, if you have a junior that has had some track experience (i.e. have ridden on the track and understands the rules and regulations) you can bring them along to participate in the novice events held especially for kids to give track racing a go. There are a few novice events held through the weekend and you can contact Track Cycling Western Australia on: for more details.

Just in case you would like to know the times for the weekend. Racing starts at 1pm and finishes about 3.30 depending on how long each events takes. Hard to tell sometimes. There are some cold drinks and snacks available at venue by seating area for spectators.
