If you are looking for something a little different for your next getaway, either with the kids or without, have you ever thought of going to a farmstay? Here are few options, not too far from Perth, that might tickle your fancy.

1. Gumleaf Cottage Farmstay
Claiming to be Perth's favourite local Farmstay where you can join in for a hayride, feed the animals every morning, book a pony ride, or just relax at one of the many wonderful vineyards, cafes, restaurants or pubs in the local area. Only 30km from Perth City in the Shire of Mundaring, Perth Hills. Gumleaf Cottage Farmstay provides a wonderful country escape and a fun-filled holiday experience for the whole family.

Featuring views over the pasture paddocks and adjoining bush reserves each of the two villas has its own verandah or patio with private BBQ. Lucieville offers four standard open-plan chalets, two large chalets, the Farm Cottage and Ringwood House.
