The world-renowned Fremantle Fishing Boat at Mews Road, Freo, Bathers Beach and WA Shipwrecks Museum is the location for this year's celebrations, filled with a stunning showcase of WA performing arts and world culture. There's so much to look forward to on the day, and the fishing boat harbour couldn't be a better backdrop, with easy access to delicious food. Some of the activities to look forward to are as follows.


Surrounding local eateries will be open, including Cicerello’s, Bathers Beach House, Kailis Fishmarket Cafe, Little Creatures and more. This is a great time for the community to come together, to celebrate, share and value cultural diversity. The entertainment is next level with a stellar cast of professional artists in glamorous costumes igniting the stage for a dazzling array of performances. The glamorous fashion parades will lead onto show-stopping Can Can dancers, Mexican dancers, Latin American music and so much more. A dedicated Children’s Entertainment Program and attractions will be an important feature of the festival. Engaging activities will encourage inclusion in an event that celebrates the sharing of cultures, stories and community engagement. As the sun sets over the iconic Bathers Beach, witness the magnificent Indian Ocean Sunset, with dazzling fire artists closing the celebrations for WA Day Festival Fremantle 2024.
