Two great shows for the price of one
Are you a crafty person or a woodworker? If so, start clearing your calendar now as one of Perth's most popular annual events is back. The WA Craft and Wood Show takes over the Claremont Showgrounds from 2 4 August, giving everyone a chance to see, try and buy all that's new in craft and wood supplies and techniques. Even better, one price covers admission to both shows meaning there really will be something for everyone.

What's on at The Wood Show

The wood show offers displays, exhibits and demonstrations by suppliers, community groups and special guests. There are tools and machinery for all trades, including the pre-loved hand tools exhibition and sale. As well, there is a large selection of exotic timber for sale from suppliers all over Australia.

There are continuous demonstrations and experts sharing tips and tricks. Groups to watch for include the Fine Woodwork Association WA, the WA Guild of Woodcarvers, Women Working with Wood and others. There's even a special "Have a Go" section for youngsters.
