The National Museum of Australia will be hosting adventurous school holiday workshops called Voyages of Discovery: Adventures at Sea, between 16th - 20th April and 23rd - 27th April (excluding Anzac Day, 25th April).
Kids will enjoy the art and science programs inspired by their current exhibition "The Art of Science: Baudin's Voyagers 1800-1804". They will make their own telescope and then work with an artist from NatureArt Lab to paint their own nature-inspired artwork and share their family's journey on a giant map. These workshops are suited to all ages and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
There will be two sessions daily - 10am - 11.30am and 11.30am - 1pm at a cost of $10 per child (plus booking fee). See the Eventbrite website to book.
