Embark on a deep sea adventure at the Australian National Maritime Museum.
This hands on exhibition is suitable for children up to 12 years and gives them the opportunity to dress up and explore a shipwreck, hunt for treasure and take controls of the fantasy submarine.
Between 4-25 January at 11.30am and 2pm daily (except for Saturdays) enjoy an action packed live theatre performance of Captain Nemo's Nautilus, which was inspired by Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues under the sea and takes you back in time with quirky creatures, time travelling volcanoes and big ocean storms.
Children get to explore Verne's imaginary world as well as learn real facts about the oceans today.

Tickets can be purchased online at Ticketek or at the door.
Cost is $27.53 for adults, $16.31 for children 4-15 years and $71.36 for a family of 5.
On Friday 16 January between 6pm – 7.30pm, experience a special after hours theatrical family tour with Captain Nemo as a guide.
Follow a treasure hunt through the fantasy world of Voyage to the Deep by tourchlight, then enjoy a BBQ dinner, themed refreshments, face painting and crafts. Don't forget to bring your torch.
Cost of the tour and dinner is $25 for adults or $80 for a family of 4. This event is suitable for children 4-12 years.
