For fabricaholics, there is a very well kept secret in East Brisbane which needs to have some light shed on it's general direction. Voodoo Rabbit has been operating for around 4 years and sells the most delicious fabrics a crafter could imagine. With a macabre theme, the owners select only a few fabrics from mainstream brands, instead opting to purchase directly from Japan which makes their collection a wonderful eclectic mix of bright and unique prints. This tiny boutique behind The Gabba has some fabrics in it's collection which are not able to be purchased anywhere else in Australia, making them the go-to place when you need something a little special for your latest crafty project.

The Voodoo bunnies themselves love all things rockabilly along with 'sleek geek' and kawaii cultures which is evident by their product choices. The store has an abundance of fabric, notions, threads, patterns and other sewing paraphernalia and they also have a fabulous selection of embroidery patterns and floss, bag hardware and other accoutrements.

They have also been teaching classes in their small showroom space with Beginner's Sewing, Buttonhole Masterclasses and Stretch Sewing Classes being added to the repertoire. Kylie will be able to talk you through your next project with ease and help you to choose the perfect fabrics and accessories to make it a success.

If you're looking for something a little bit kooky and a whole lot of wonderful, this is the perfect spot for you to spend a while.
