If you love to work with fabric or are a keen embroiderer, Voodoo Rabbit Fabric is a great place to find a curated selection of the best materials from across the globe.
Situated in the busy Annerley Junction shopping precinct, the shop is often packed with weekday and Saturday shoppers asking for expert advice and buying beautiful textiles. Since moving from her previously smaller location the owner, Kylie, has expanded her unique range of macabre, rockabilly and comic themed selections as the shop has been able to spread out in the new space.
The store has an abundance of fabric, notions, threads, patterns and other sewing paraphernalia and they also have a fabulous selection of embroidery patterns and floss, bag hardware and other accoutrements.
You will find a range of Funky Friends Factory toy patterns with all the materials needed to make your own stuffed toy. There is also a large range of indie dress patterns which you can pair with your favourite fabric in the store.
Kylie is extremely talented at her own sewing machine as you will see by the beautiful bags and dressed she has made as samples in the window. With all the wonderful things to choose from, you can see a variety of critters, fashion statements and kiddy styles when she changes over her display.
There are all the favourites here with Alexander Henry, Echino and Tula Pink along with a variety of hard-to-find Japanese and indie fabrics in a carefully selected collection which will delight Goth, Rockabilly, Pinup and Retro enthusiasts.
