Volunteering at the Color Me Rad 5K Fun Run

Home > Sydney > Charity | Fun Things To Do | Volunteering
If you are an outdoor loving, fun and social person with a good conscience, this volunteering opportunity is the one for you!

Colour runs are fast becoming a popular activity in Australia, and why not, it looks like a lot of fun! But if you don't want to spend your money to get some colour thrown at you, while you're running but you still want to experience the fun, then volunteering at the Colour Me Rad 5k Colour Run can be just the thing for you. This event is happening on the 23rd February 2014, which also happens to be the month where we are observing World Cancer Day (5th Feb).

The Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) is the official charity partner at this event and they are looking for volunteers to be an integral part of this exciting event! ACRF is a "cancer charity foundation, dedicated to finding the cures for cancer by funding world-class cancer research in Australia"

The ACRF receives a $100 donation for every volunteer that helps out- not that's what I call making a difference!

Plus "any volunteers who wish to support the event over Thursday and Friday for packet pick-up duty will be able to participate in the race for free!" which I think is totally rad.

You will be helping promote ACRF during the event as well as help runners at the event. You might either be on registration desks, helping to manage the run or better yet colour bombing the runners!
