Event: -

Research estimates that approximately 40% of all dementia can be attributed to risk factors that are highly modifiable, including low mood, poor sleep, poor heart health and low cognitive and social engagement.

The BetterBrains randomised controlled trial will test whether personalised lifestyle and educational behaviour change strategies targeted at modifying these four risk factors for dementia can prevent thinking and memory problems in middle- to older-aged Australian adults. BetterBrains is delivered entirely online - meaning you can participate in the trial regardless of where you are located in Australia.

If you are:

  • Aged between 40-70 years

  • Have a family history of dementia

  • Have access to a computer/laptop to complete a series of online assessments

  • Want to change your risk factors for dementia

    YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE!

To learn more about the BetterBrains trial, or to sign-up, please visit our website at www.betterbrains.org.au.

Please pass this invite on to friends or family members who you think may be interested in participating. If you have any questions about the BetterBrains trial, please contact our team at betterbrains@monash.edu.

This project was approved by the Monash University Human Research Ethics committee (approval number: 25221).
