share your skills and travel the world
Have you ever wondered about becoming a volunteer overseas? I must admit it has crossed my mind that it would be not only be a worthwhile contribution, but so interesting, and maybe even exciting. Live like a local, share the culture and customs, try unusual foods and meet new people; live the experience, don't just be a tourist.
If you have a skill that you could share and could mentor students, then Australian Volunteers International would love to meet you. They will provide an extensive briefing, airfares, insurance and accommodation, plus a modest living allowance, in exchange for your expertise for 6-18 months in Asia, the Pacific or Africa.
Some skills needed are in management, health, education, marketing, business development and I.T.
If you would like to find out more, go along to an information session at St Peters Town Hall Banquet Hall, 101 Payneham Rd, St Peters on Tuesday 26 May at 6.30 pm.
