The VLLC offers you the ultimate learning experience where you can master a new language with your eyes closed. With more than 11 languages, the possibilities are endless. VLLC is proud to employ mother tongued teachers, who will take you through relaxation and visualisation as well as practical communication techniques while teaching you your chosen language. Accelerated Mind Techniques are key components of the learning experience. All VLLC courses are nationally VET accredited.

The VLLC team of experts run a fully interactive online or in-house course that will teach you to engage in social and vocational situations with confidence. Their unique method of listening, repeating simulates learning as if you were in the country: you listen to native speakers, record your voice, practise your pronunciation and then check. VLLC step by step method is guaranteed to develop your fluency.

All courses are designed to achieve maximum results in minimum time. Regular meetings with the course coordinators are designed to keep your learning right on track.

One on one tutorial sessions with each lesson ensure that you feel comfortable communicating in real situations and with real people.

Courses may now also contribute to Year 12 High School Certificates in some states.

The languages that VLLC offers are: Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Greek, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, Russian, Thai. The centre is now also offering English for Professional Purposes. A 30 hour course which can refine your English skills in Communication Strategies, Telephone Skills, Email and Report Writing and Obtaining Clarification.

VLLC offers three courses for each of the languages: certificate II, III and IV.

Certificate II in Foreign Language Studies & English for Vocational Purposes achieves a social proficiency in reading, writing and spoken language. At the completion of the course, students are able to converse with friends and family; travel to the target country and talk to the locals; book accommodation; give directions; order food and drink at restaurants; make requests and replies; request rail/bus tickets; sightsee; tell the time; communicate medical needs.

The course is a combination of online learning with individual tuition, homework tasks and regular chats with Student Coordinator and Tutors. With the convenience of 24/7 access you will save time and money and enjoy the flexibility of arranging your course time around you own busy schedule. iPad and iPhone App available at Apple Store. You don't need any prerequisites in order to take this course: all you need is commitment, enthusiasm and the ability to follow the course procedures.

Certificate III covers a large range of topics and achieves a basic vocational proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and listening and includes a strong cultural component. It gives students a sound knowledge of intermediate structures and is available for students who wish to expand their fluency to a more advanced level. Prerequisites are the successful completion of Certificate II in Foreign Language Studies or prior learning equivalent to ISLPR level 2 in reading, writing, speaking and listening. Commitment, enthusiasm and the ability to follow the course procedures will ensure an outstanding result.

Certificate IV achieves a vocational proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and listening. It covers a wide range of topics to develop a student's language to an advanced ability and includes a large cultural component. This course also includes a focus on motivation to achieve success and is of particular value to students wishing to achieve the level of proficiency relevant for business. In order to take this course, you will need to have successfully completed Certificate III in Foreign Language Studies or have prior learning equivalent to ISLPR level 2 in reading, writing, speaking and listening.
