Right on track Hot Wheels and movies
cinema for kids, vjunior, what to do in school holidays melbourne, kids movies

You've probably heard of Hot Tub Cinema well now comes Hot Wheels Cinema. This one is for kids and families. From December 1 Village Cinemas Southland introduces Australia's first kids concept cinema, for kids, designed by kids.

Called Vjunior it is what you get when your cross the world's leading toy brands, Mattel's Hot Wheels with Village Cinemas.

Playtime is built into the cinema experience as families can arrive before their session to enjoy an interactive play area.

In the foyer you will find building blockwalls, light projection games, Hot Wheels activity tables and more.

Children's artwork creations come to life on the big screen through custom built interactive scan and see technology.

This should be a winner for kid's birthdays as there are special party areas for private bookings.

The in-cinema experience includes a slide to encourage play time before and after the movie and there are a range of seating options, from custom-fit bean bag seats and lounges for the kids, to more traditional seating for the parents.

Thanks for the thoughtfulness of parent seats Village. Gettiing out of bean bags is not much fun for adults.

They have thought of everything including modified volumes and lighting levels for kids, a shorter pre-show for shorter attention spans of young children, and an intermission during longer films to allow for additional socialising, snacks and toilet breaks.

A new kid's menu will be available and include a range of hot food, milkshakes and fruit snacks. But get this. There will be a coffee cart for parents to enjoy. Another heartfelt thank you.

Vjunior will open its door on Thursday, December 1 at Village Cinemas Southland.
