The Freshflix mission is simple: to elevate the brightest new talents of Australian and international independent cinema. Interested? Of course, you are!
Now in its eighth season, the 2019 Freshflix Festival returns this year to showcase the best in short film and they are teaming up with Vivid for a spectacular night on the top floor of the Museum of Contemporary Art, now that is prime Vivid viewing territory!
The event will be held on the Saturday night of the June long weekend, that's the 8th June 2019 for the punctilious amongst us. The doors will open at 5pm and from 6pm you can expect to enjoy some fabulous short films on the big screen as well as Freshflix's signature live music sets, beverages, popcorn, awards and heaps of fun. From the top floor of the Museum of Contemporary Art your views of Vivid will be next level, from the bright lights illuminating Circular Quay and the harbour to the jewel in the Vivid crown, the Sydney Opera House which will be ablaze with an enthralling tribute to Australia's native plantlife.
