Every year for the past fifteen years, Sydney has come to life with the Vivid Light Festival . Over twenty-three days at the start of winter where art, technology, creativity and innovation come together to spread art and joy through light installations across the city.

These art installations are created by artists who push boundaries, musicians, expert thinkers and chefs, as food is a huge part of the festival, and whichever precinct you go to, there is sure to be something for everyone.

Whether you walk around the precincts or catch a Vivid cruise, there are many ways to experience this event and it 2019s probably possible to do it over a few nights to really get involved and see as much as you can.

The city will be illuminated by awe-inspiring art installations, and 3D light projections as well. To catch Vivid 2019s spectacular lights, head to any one of the following precincts, with a variety of paid and free events. The Vivid website has great information on the events, installations and everything going on.

Light installations will be at:
- Martin Place
- Circular Quay and the Rocks
- The Goods Line and Inner City
- Darling Harbour
- Barangaroo
