Carly Findlay OAM will introduce a special online screening of , the personal story of filmmaker Rodney Evans on an exploration of how the loss of vision affects artists. Evans' journey was instigated by his own vision impairment; he suffers from retinitis pigmentosa, a condition of the eyes which causes extreme loss of peripheral vision. Through portraits of three artists - a photographer, a dancer and a writer - the film looks at the ways each artist was affected by the loss of their vision and how their creative process has changed or adapted.
The screening, via Zoom at 6pm on Wednesday 1 December, is a ticketed event. Tickets are $10, and ticket holders will have 48 hours from the conclusion of the event to view the film.
