On Saturday 25th of July 2015, the Melbourne Mandolin Orchestra is proudly presenting an exciting concert event, celebrating the talents of two world-class virtuosos, Marissa Carroll on classical mandolin and Joel Woods on classical guitar.

Performing together as 'PlettroMano', this anticipated live music event will feature a diverse repertoire; audiences can expect to hear Brazilian bossa nova juxtaposed with Baroque music, all played with superb technique and musicality!

The concert will feature Concertino in D for mandolin and orchestra by Albrechtsberger and the exciting Tangata de Agosto for guitar and orchestra by Maximo Diego Pujol.

PlettroMano will also perform a program of duets including works by Astor Piazzolla and several Baroque composers.

Marissa and Joel are both Brisbane based and have performed all over Australia to critical acclaim.

This event is sure to delight music lovers of all ages!
