Explore Your Own Mindful Creativity
There couldn't be a better way to explore your creativity and bring some inner balance to your life.
Brisbane artist, Gabrielle Conescu will lead a virtual online Creativity Art Session on Saturday 4 April 2020 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm. The program is $5 or free if you book before midnight on Monday 30th March 2020.
The event will be powered through ZOOM and Zoom invitations will be sent to the email address provided when you book. Reserve a spot on Zoom
What will I need and what will I learn? The session is designed to help you create and freely express yourself through drawing, doodling and colouring. The materials for the session are pretty straight forward; your journal, sketchbook, paper, sharpies, coloured pens, pencils or paints to start a creative journal.
Mindful Creativity Gabrielle is an advocate for Mindful Creativity and the benefits it offers. A study by BBC Art and University College London in 2019 found that even a small amount of creativity helps maintain good mental health and well-being. Other recent research shows creativity activates neural pathways in the brain enhancing your other capabilities.
Regularly engaging with creativity helps return our emotions to balance. Plus being creative is a pleasurable way to relax and nurture yourself, particularly during these trying times.
