Expect the unexpected at Virgin Active's Open Day
The new Collins Street Health club run by Virgin Active adds a bit of style and class to your typical gym workouts with its state-of-the-art facilities combined with some innovative group classes that you would only typically get through an expensive studio setting such as Anti-gravity Yoga, an Indoor Climbing Zone, Pilates classes with brand new reformers, and Virgin's own developed Grid Program that is bound to improve your fitness level.

With over 230 group fitness classes running at the new Collins St Health Club in 7 spacious and style specific studios you will certainly find something that will suit your needs and fitness goals. Like a yoga studio there is 'The Mind & Body' Space which provides a calming, Parisian-chic space which houses all the classes such as Anti-Gravity Yoga, Ashtanga, Tai Chi, Pilates, Reformer, Yin Yoga and Hot Yoga all in the same area.

For those looking for a vigorous cardio workout, the main studio will house all your favourite Les Mill classes from Pump, Attack, Combat and Step. Virgin Active's new Collins Street club also offers a state of the art mobility circuit; the exciting MyRide or IC7 Coach by Colour with virtual visuals while cycling; and extensive range of weights to strengthen the body.

After the workout and to rejuvenate and relax you can get away from it all and cocoon yourself in the Club's zero gravity technology. Sleep pods recline for optimum napping, promote blood flow and reduce pressure on the lower back. Or alternatively you can pop under the refreshing sensation showers for an invigorating recovery session or take on the ice fountain: that will certainly wake up those tired muscles.
