This Vintage Market in Swan has something for everyone
From the very earliest origins of human society we have had to co-operate in order to survive. Killing a mastadon is a group effort, apart from the fact that there's too much for one person to eat.
Formal trade co-operatives date back to at least the early fifteen century in Europe. It is one of the basic urges that helps us survive.

Here in Western Australia, for example we have the Co-operative Bulk Handling for farmers and also the The Vintage Co-operative for dealers and collectors of vintage objects d'vertu. This is the third Markets of the year, the previous were in March and June.

The next market and show for this charming association of like-minded people will take place on Sunday the 12th October from 11am to 4:30pm as The Vintage Collective Markets in the Oakover Wines' grounds.
This wonderful family-friendly Vintage Market has something for everyone. There will be displays of examples of Vintage Cars and for the first time, Vintage Caravans.

There will be a number of stalls offering a range of goods, all with the common factor of vintage. Clothing, toys, collectibles, kitchenalia, treen as well as bikes and cars.
There are day-long activities and entertainment for adults and children, all free. If you would like to enter the Pretty as a Pin Up parade, there will be make-up artists on hand to transform you into a 1950s Vargas Girl. Make-up and entry into the parade are free.
Then there's the Show & Shine a free competition for bikes and cars - details and applications are here.
Go for a fantastic day filled with vintage, retro, upcycled and recycled wares. Take a picnic, try the food from the stalls or sample the food and drinks on offer from host supporter Oakover Wines.
Oakover Wines and the Vintage Collective Markets are at 14 Yukich Close, Middle Swan.
