I'm a grandmother, a retired teacher, an avid reader who loves historical re-enactment, English Country Dance, writing and Op Shopping. My business www.StepIntoHistory.com.au is designed to help children experience history through school incursions.
Sitting on the corner of Logan Rd and Birdwood Rd at Holland Park this gloriously decorated homewares shop will catch your eye as you drive past. So.... if you want to step into a calm, pretty space, stop and visit.

The highly decorated shop front is eye-catching.
Inside you will discover fine china, lace doilies, soft cotton night dresses, quilts, dolls, paintings at bargain prices, lamps and lots of knick-knacks for dog lovers. You will find beautiful scarves and jewellery and interesting clothing.

A colourful display of jewellery.

Beautiful, dainty tea sets and other china.

Lovely lamps and cute cosies.
If you can't find something irresistible in the three packed rooms, I'll be very surprised. The prices are very reasonable compared to similar stores elsewhere. There were even tiny treasures for a dollar or two. You can't beat that.

Tiny treasures for tiny tots.

Cool, light cotton nightdresses for hot summer nights.
There has been a tea shop attached which was doing a roaring trade in teas, high teas and lunches. Unfortunately it is not open at present... BUT, fortunately it's for sale so hopefully someone will set up again soon.
You could even put your car in for a wash across the road while you browse.
