The is a cosy little restaurant tucked away in Spearwood and they just happen to serve some of the finest Italian cuisine in Perth. This traditional family owned restaurant is sure to give you a dining experience that you won't soon forget.



With a friendly, relaxed, inviting atmosphere, Vino Rosso is the perfect place to dine with family or friends. Whether you plan to celebrate a birthday or special occasion or want a cosy dinner for two, you will not be disappointed.

The menu is quite extensive and offers dine in or take-away options. There are plenty of choices including pasta, chicken, fish and wood fired pizzas. They also have a good children's menu which has the usual chicken nuggets or fish and chips, but it also contains things like lasagne and chicken or veal schnitzel. Something a bit different, and costing around the $12.00 mark, it will be a hit with the kids.



For an entrée you have such things as Formaggio Fritto, fried camembert cheese served with cranberry sauce ($14.00), Salsiccia Alla Griglia, grilled Italian sausage served with polenta and toasted bread ($16.00) or Calamari Fritti, fried squid rings served with salad & tartar sauce ($18.00) - all very tasty, but you just can't go past the Gamberi Fritti, fried prawns served with salad and tartar sauce ($20.00).

There are a whole range of pasta dishes on the menu, spaghetti, ravioli, lasagna, gnocchi, cannelloni, tortellini all with an assortment of delicious sauces. Then there is an array of wood fired pizzas and they all smell and look fantastic.

Lots of main meals to choose from, including the all-time trusty favourite, Pollo Parmigiana, chicken cutlet topped with tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese for $26.50, the Pollo Vino Rosso, pan fried chicken tenderloin with a pesto, dried apricot and cream sauce for $28.00 and the Filetto Di Carne Alla Griglia, char-grilled scotch fillet, with a creamy mushroom or pepper sauce for $30.00.



For dessert, try the profiteroles or any one of the other decadent creamy desserts and pastries on the menu. They are all yummy and a nice way to finish off your meal.

Of course, you cannot dine at Vino Rosso without sampling some really good Italian wine. Their wine menu is full of local and imported wines - reds, whites and sparkling wines - to enjoy with your meal. If you don't know too much about wine the helpful staff are on hand to make suggestions and help you pick a good one.

Vino Rosso offers you the convenience of take-away food options, pizza and pasta specials on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, and is more than happy to cater for functions and special occasions. You can book out a section, or the whole restaurant, for an event if you choose or the catering staff will arrange to have food delivered to your door and served.

The Vino Rosso Ristoranti is open for dinner Tuesday to Sunday from 5pm till late.
