The wife and I had a voucher for two at Vincenzo's Merrylands.
We were pleasantly surprised when they asked us to e-mail them for reservations. Now, having heaps of dodgy experiences with vouchers in the past, we were more than obliging to mail them.
They responded quickly and we were off on a Wednesday evening for a meal. Now I don't remember the amount, but I reckon it was $29 for a shared entree, a meal of pizza or pasta each, can drinks and Gelato each.
The hostess was very welcoming and she had a hand written welcome note on the table reserved for my wife.
The hostess was very sweet and quickly apprised us of the deal.
We ordered a Chicken Caesar Salad as shared entree. I ordered a Chicken Tortellini Chicken Pasta and the wife ordered a Meat Lovers Pizza. The salad was really yum, and we made short work of it. The mains portions were substantial and in the owners' words, we had to get a "Doggy Bag". Haven't heard that usage since my New York days in the 90's. He was shocked we had space for gelatos. I had a Bacio Gelato and my wife had a Tiramisu Gelato. They were quite delectable! All in all, a very gratifying experience, especially with the hospitable staff.
