It's a Saturday morning and, sitting in your wallet, is an unused $10 note. The sun is shining and the wind is calm, therefore it's not a day for couch sitting. So get off the couch and head along to the Kelvin Grove Village Markets .

The markets are a wonderful place to enjoy some beautiful morning sunshine and friendly service from the gourmet spokespeople. You're only difficulty will be choosing what to eat because there is so much and it is very reasonably priced.

If you have a sweet tooth snap up a two pack of fresh strawberries for $6. These are not little packs either, so take a friend to enjoy the munchies with you. While you're there why not grab some tantalising cheese for $3.50 to impress your friends at dinner tonight, you did say you'd bring the cheese and crackers, right?

As well as some great food you'll also find a great range of clothing, accessories, and jewellery.

The markets are held every Saturday from 6am till 1pm on Blamey Street, Kelvin Grove . They are a short bus ride from the city centre. To get there catch the 345, 333, 330, or the 340.
