I recently traveled to Singapore for a well earned holiday and spent a night at the .



While only staying at the hotel for one night I can say that this hotel was a good choice for our group. The rooms we had were quite spacious for the price, with a double bed and king single in each. We also had a cot in ours for our young son, with plenty of room to walk around it.





The location of the hotel is good for anyone looking to spend a few days in Singapore and travel around. There's a bus stop only a minutes walk away, a train station less than 10 minutes walk away. It's also a very short walk from the Bugis night market. It's also very close to Little India, a great place to explore after the sun goes down. The hotel isn't located on a main roadway, so you don't have to worry about hearing cars driving past in all hours of the night.



We found the hotel staff to be very helpful, nice and friendly. We informed them that my mother-in-law had her birthday the day we arrived, and late in the afternoon 3 staff members came to her room with a selection of complementary cakes and sang her happy birthday. It was a very nice touch.



After much discussion we decided to eat in for dinner and I was in two minds about that choice. While the food was tasty and the service nice, I found the sizes of the meals on the small side for the prices we paid (I needed to go out to a local deli to fill myself up) and the service was a little on the slow side.



If you are looking for a place to stay in Singapore, on the whole I would recommend staying at this hotel - there is no pool though incase you want that. If you are only there for a short stay, try to organise the taxi that drops you off to collect you to take you back to the airport (or whatever) as I did notice a few people waiting in the taxi line at the hotel, being off the main drag it doesn't get huge taxi traffic.
