Okay, we'd had a very busy day, brunching at the Freedom Hub Cafe, walking around Sydney Harbour, through stunning parklands and it was now time for sundowners and a snack (for those of us who are always peckish) before dinner time.
The Village Crown in Zetland, is on the outer side of the East Village Shopping Centre, within an industrial building showcasing soaring ceilings and impressive funky decor. This vibe-y venue has indoor and outdoor seating and can accommodate two hundred guests with ease and with the very contemporary decor is a great cosmopolitan hangout for those in-the-know.
Cocktail Happy Hour is celebrated at The Village Crown seven days a week, from 9.00pm onwards when delectable-looking cocktails are available for only $10. If you're interested in learning the art of cocktail shaking, the Village Crown provide unique cocktail class experiences to incorporate into your next private event. Yep, they have exclusive areas set aside for private events as well - for your next birthday celebration perhaps?
Sundays are GTS - Get Together Sundayz - from 4.00pm to 9.00pm every week, where guests are treated to either a Corona Bucket or Sangria and Pimms Jugs for only $25. From Mondays to Fridays before 6.00pm, children under twelve years of age get to eat free - one child per full priced main meal.
I digress! On to our orders. Being late afternoon and having done a smidgen amount of exercise, a Pear Cider was on the cards for me. For munchies we chose the Charcuterie Board, a seriously yum platter to share. Our Charcuterie Board consisted of De Palma Bresaola, Balzanelli Ham Dbl smoked, Finocchietto Fennel Salami, Lonza (pork loin), marinated vegetables, olives, green pear, hummus, beetroot dip and chargrilled sourdough for $24.90 - did I mention how seriously yum this was?

The Village Crown is truly a must-visit venue, with its laid-back ambience, allowing moi to participate in my favourite pastimes - people-watching, taking photographs and just generally being laid back. Do yourself a favour and bookmark The Village Crown in the soul of Zetland, for an experience of note or perhaps your next big special celebration!
PS: There's plenty of undercover parking in the East Village Shopping Centre, with the first two hours free
