Single seniors catered for here
There are many senior singles and it was once said to me regarding holiday travel that, "not only are you single, but you also have to pay double for not having a partner". This has stuck in my mind for a long time and encouraged me to seek out organisations who cater for both seniors and also singles.
The one which has the best and most interesting tours is Villa, and they have now been operating for many years, originally under the name of Villa Carlotta. They are the senior travel specialists for over 55, and all their tours are extremely well planned, informative and well worth taking. Their motto is "Travelling Solo? You're Never Alone with Villa!"
There is a choice of being paired with another single senior (same sex of course) and you can still take a single room at a modest supplement, and nowhere near double the cost that many other operators charge.
Places covered included North of WA, Lord Howe Island, and all states of Australia. Internationally, they cover Asia, Africa, USA, Canada, Europe and more.
South Western Australian places include Albany, Bunbury, Busselton, coastal cruising and Denmark, and there is a choice of a few days up to a few weeks.
Other tours include The Goldfields with its interesting history and gold mines, and you will learn about the world's greatest gold rush while travelling on The Prospector.
Overseas, they have a tour of the Panama Canal in 2017 and this looks exciting!

The Cherry Blossoms of Japan are a sight to behold, and this is another tour that Villa is running in January 2017. It features Mexico, Bahamas and Central America, and is a 21-day tour.

Their website is easy, fast and is very well laid out and user-friendly, and you can see at a glance which tours are available, the times, and charges.
Villa operate out of Busselton and do extended coach tours, as well as shorter trips, and they have a well-earned reputation for quality and customer satisfaction. Their coaches are luxury ones which all depart from Perth, and there are continual stops for those that need this! They also offer insurance on tours of 9 days or more.
Most tours are fully inclusive though lunch is optional in some of them, and accommodation is always in quality venues.
Why not request one of their glossy travel brochures or call their free call number,1800 066 272 and work out your next holiday.
I have done one of their shorter tours, the three-day tour of the South West of Western Australia, which included the Margaret River Wine region and I thoroughly enjoyed this, even though I was quite stressed as I had left my mobile phone, which was at the time, my camera, at home by mistake. Well worth looking into their tours if you are a senior single.
The picture you have for Albany, Western Australia above is actually Albany, New York, USA. People might be a bit disappointed in not finding this much old architecture in Albany WA, whatever its other attractions :). The image is attributed to the "Carlotta website" but I cannot find it there.
