Vietnamese Cold Pork is a traditional dish served on Vietnamese Tet holiday (Lunar New Year). This dish is quick and extremely simple.
Ingredients:
- 500 gr leg pork
- 50 gr peas, 50 gr sliced mushrooms, 50 g sliced carrots
- 15 ml fish sauce and spices
Direction:
Cut the pork in thin strips.
Put the cut meat in a saucepan of water with fish sauce, salt, seasoning and cook until the pork is tender (about one hour).
Then put peas, mushrooms and carrots into the saucepan.
Place in a bowl. Allow to cool and set in the fridge.
Turned upside-down on a plate to serve (with sour pickles).
