You'll find Vietnamese Saigon Star at the corner of Smith Street and Knuckey Street. It's right beside Nando's, near the entrance of the Darwin Central Hotel. There is parking available on the street or nearby at the Woolworths.
Vietnamese Saigon Star is only open at lunch or dinner for restricted hours. It's usually pretty busy at lunchtime with the CBD office workers. The actual store side is actually quite small, but the main seating area is air-conditioned and undercover and is filled with light.
Their menu does all the classics, including pho, fried egg noodles, fried rice noodles, and vermicelli dishes. I ate the traditional Vietnamese spring rolls and pho when I came with friends. Everyone left satisfied. The size of the meals are enormous, so sharing is a good option. You can also take away what you don't eat.
