While it is located a fair distance away from the Adelaide CBD, Viet-Thai Signatures at Pooraka is a good place to enjoy delicious Vietnamese and Thai dishes. Dishes that can be expected to be seen at similar restaurants form a main part of their menu. Vietnamese bread rolls (Banh Mi) are offered until 3pm.

A main ingredient of the PLA Beef Salad was the shredded apple slices which gave a texture similar to Green Papaya Salad but with a sweeter flavour. The slices of beef were not too tough and the Thai dressing was delicious. Mint leaves in the salad gave the salad a refreshing flavour.

The portion size of the Salt and Pepper Chicken was quite generous. The battered pieces of chicken were cooked just right, with the flesh set off nicely by the crisp coating. It did not taste too salty and while chilli was included the degree of heat should be suitable for most tastes. Extra texture was provided by the slices of capsicum which added a bit of sweetness.

The vegetables in the Thai Basil Stir-fry still retained a bit of bite and the chunks of tofu that we chose partnered with them nicely. The basil sauce had the distinct flavour of Thai basil and additional basil leaves were cooked with the ingredients to heighten its flavour.

Seating was a bit limited and the decor of the restaurant gives it a casual feel. A carpark in the complex next to the restaurant offers convenient off-street parking.
