Wow what an idea!

This is the first time I have ever seen something like this and I believe it to be the greatest invention that beer has ever benefited from.

The Jug-o-naught at the Victory Hotel Brisbane city is slightly larger than a conventional 'Jug of Beer' with a brilliant twist, designed specifically for our hot and sunny climate. After all, there is nothing worse than returning to your table from the bar, jug in hand, only to find that it has warmed to an undrinkable 'luke warm' in the sunny Queensland climate?

Well, not anymore.

Within this jug of beer is a sealed cylinder that runs through the middle of your jug of ice-cold beer and they fill the sealed centre section with ice cubes! That's right, ice cubes.

Now your beer stays icy cold and palatable on hot summer days. The idea is just brilliant if you ask me and for $15.00 per Jug-o-naught, it really does make for an affordable afternoon session with some friends, some icy cold beer and the bustle of the Brisbane CBD passing you by.
