A well-established exhibition in Melbourne's art calendar is Hidden Faces Victorian Salon Des Refusés (Salon of the Rejected). Celebrating its 17th year, the works are currently on display at Pan Pacific Melbourne until 4 October, 2018.
The Hidden Faces Victorian Salon Des Refusés exhibition features portraits by Victorian artists, originally submitted for a number of national portrait prizes, including the Doug Moran, Portia Geach, Archibald, Sulman, Scratchboard Society and Black Swan. These paintings were either not hung in the 'official' exhibitions or have not been shown in Melbourne.
