The 2013 season of the Victorian Roller Derby League (VRDL) is now in full swing, with Bout 3 kicking off this June.

The derby action will take place on Sunday, June 2nd, 2013 at Darebin Community Sports Stadium in Reservoir from 3:00pm and will pit the Dead Ringer Rosies, who have yet to claim victory this season, against the Rock Mobsters, one of the newest teams to join the Victorian Roller Derby League.

The second stoush of the evening will see the Toxic Avengers avenge their current top spot on the Victorian Roller Derby League ladder against the fiercely competitive Dolls of Hazzard.

Both of these matches are sure to delight fans, but this event is also notable as it will give the public a chance to congratulate the VRDL All Stars on their recent successful Pacific North West Tour of the United States for the Big O tournament in Oregon, where they emerged undefeated, claiming four wins from four bouts at the tournament!


Victorian Roller Derby League events are family-friendly, with children under the age of 5 receiving free entry. The current online ticket prices (through Brown Paper Tickets ) are as follows*:

Adults: $20

Concession (Health Care Card and Pensioner Card holders only. Student cards will not be accepted): $16

Children (6yrs to 15yrs): $11

Family (2 Adults & 2 Kids): $50

Tickets will also be available at the door on the event night but may be priced slightly dearer; to pre-purchase your ticket - simply head to the Brown Paper Tickets website .





On arrival at Darebin Community Sports Stadium, patrons will be welcomed in the GRAB room (which will open at 3pm). Here you can enjoy a beverage from the onsite bar and peruse the team merchandise. At 3:15pm, patrons can then enter the SMASH room and take their seats around the main track.

This is sure to be an enjoyable event for all who attend.

Free parking will be available onsite and the event venue is accessible via Yarra Trams line #86 (Docklands to Bundoora), Stop 57 (RDSC, Gremel Rd).
