Silo Art at Patchewollock


On 15 & 16 May 2021, Workers' Education Association of SA (WEA) is putting on a tour on Victorian Heritage and to see the stunning silo arts. The weekend tour will follow the Victorian Silo Art trail starting from Patchewollock to Lascelles, Rosebery, Brim, Sheep Hills and ending at Rupanyup.

I have seen these beautiful and unique Silo Arts before and let me tell you they are worth visiting. Each tells the story of the township and its people.

The tour will also visit Hopetoun and Minyip.Overnight stay is at Horsham with dinner, bed and breakfast at Best Westlander Motor Inn.

The next day there will a historical Horsham walk and a visit to the town of Natimuk.

The route back to SA will go past Mt Arapiles, which is a rock formation and a very popular place for rock climbers. We will also pass the Little Desert National Park.

This weekend tour will depart WEA centre on Saturday 15 May at 7.30am sharp. The cost is $299 for twin-share or double and $359 for single supplement.
