Are you looking for thoughtful, creative Christmas gifts for all your family and friends? Head to the The Victorian Christmas Gift Fair at Drill Hall Melbourne. Entry is FREE!
Held over two fun-filled days (7th and 8th December), this bustling indoor marketplace will bring together the state's best designers, makers and vendors of unique fashion and gifts in one convenient location.
Presented by The Pop Up Collective, a collaboration of small business owners, the curated event offers great gift ideas for men, women and children with a focus on handmade or unique ethically made / ethically sourced products.
Pop Up Collective founder Judith Treanor says the aim of the event is to offer shoppers a different and memorable shopping experience - "Imagine if you could find all your Christmas gift ideas in one place and support small business at a time when retail and small business is really struggling. The Victorian Christmas Gift Fair will be your chance to do just that."
Expect a shopping experience which merges the variety of a department store with the independent stallholders of a marketplace and attractive displays of a concept store. Highlights include ethical fashion and accessories for men and women, resort wear, kids swimwear, bags, jewellery, luxe gifts, beauty and décor. View the participating brands here.
With trading from 10am to 4pm, there will be ample time to leisurely peruse the diverse range of stallholders.
The location is hard to beat too! The Drill Hall is a stunning Art Deco building close to the centre of Melbourne and steeped in history. It is conveniently situated across the tramline from Queen Victoria Markets.
Support small businesses this Christmas by visiting The Victorian Christmas Gift Fair. The event is curated by a small business owner and retailer to support her fellow retailers. Judith Treanor explains "Collaboration is the key to the success of our Collective. We work best when we work together. We are small business owners, supporting each other this Christmas, as we strive to swim against the tide of struggling retail."

The Pop Up Collective is the brainchild of Judith Treanor, owner of online gift store Temples and Markets. Being a small business owner/retailer herself, Judith knows how hard it is to showcase her products offline without the expense of a bricks and mortar store, or exhibiting at a weather dependant market. Judith created the Pop Up Collective to provide different and unique ways for small business owners to collaborate and share retail pop up spaces across Australia.
The Pop Up Collective is proud to be a finalist in Auspost Online Retailer Awards 2019 in the category of "Best In Store Initiative" merging online & offline to best benefit retailers and consumers.
