We have become a multicultural nation and as a result, have the great opportunity to be able to explore cuisines from all over the world! We are so lucky that we don't even know it until we travel abroad. But hold on, there is no need to step on that plane anymore, especially if you are craving for some traditional authentic Greek food. If you have not seen this place, then may I welcome you to Victoria Yeeros.

This Greek takeaway shop is located on the busy Victoria Rd in Marrickville. This casual dining restaurant has been built over the years on the reputation for their true authentic Greek food and they bring you exactly that. We can admittedly say that nothing beats homemade cooking, but what if you find a place that can make flavours that are identical to homemade food?

Unless these are rumours, I have been told that Victoria Yeeros is the best you can get and I was somewhat sceptical, but after trying the food here I think Victoria has naturally eliminated my scepticism. I'm surprised that the takeaway shop has changed my mind but glad at the same time, so I can share this with you.

What you can expect to find here is a selection of yummy yeeros (just like your kebabs). The yeeros are wraps and you can choose your meat out of chicken, lamb and beef served in a pita bread and you get to choose your filling. If you prefer to have it in a plate rather than a wrap, you can have this served with a plate of meet, chips or salad. The price will vary depending on how you choose to have it, but it is all at a very good price given their serving sizes. To give you some idea of the price of a wrap, if you are having a beef wrap, it will be $10.20.

In addition to this, they offer extra fillings at an additional cost depending on what the filling is, so for example, if you want to add BBQ sauce, this will be a further $0.20, and other fillings as priced on their board. For those that are just hungry and are not fussed about what to eat, they also offer grilled meat, falafel (non-Greek) and burgers. Do not worry about your figure, because it is tasty grilled food.

If you are interested in trying this place out but would like to get an idea of their menu and prices (they do not have a website unfortunately), you can quite easily find more information by looking them up through the Zomato website.

I hope I have opened up your appetite now after all this, so... which wrap are you going to order?
