Take your mates or your missus and enjoy a fun day out
Victoria has a huge amount of swap meets on over the State while the sunny weather is still here. Although some of the events in Autumn, do get very cold early in the morning so rug up, You are sure to find something of interest here at a venue near you.

You will find car parts, some of them rare, used bicycles, kids toys, motorcycles cars and caravans for sale, automotive books, collectables, tools, shed clear outs, rustic old farm stuff such as iron wheels, things for garden such as plants and garden furniture, and so much more.

Perhaps take your mates for a weekend off and go to the area to stay. From local town swaps, where you can find some unique items, to the biggest of them all in Ballarat, Victorian Swap Meets have treasures and bargains awaiting you.

Take small notes and coins and a shopping bag. Stallholders
have limited change and sales are cash only.
Wear enclosed shoes as the ground can be wet or bumpy. Take a
jacket for cool mornings or rain forecast.
Buy some food or drink as it helps the fundraiser. However, not many swaps would cater to special dietary needs.
Older kids would enjoy a swap, but for younger ones, it is far too much walking and they get bored.
Dogs are not allowed on reserves and football ovals so leave
them at home.

And that is your list for the first half of 2019. Please check individual websites for confirmed dates, especially if you are travelling for some distance. Swaps are not usually cancelled because of rain, but best to check. Please leave a comment below on how you found the swaps here, such as size and type of goods for sale. Thanks, and happy swapping.
