Is This The Best Picnic Spot In The Redlands?
This little park is located at Victoria Point Recreation Reserve, off of Masters Avenue. We love this park because it has beautiful water views and a variety of takeaway stores nearby.

To get to the reserve, which is also refered to as Victoria Point Jetty, you simply take Colburn Avenue until you arrive at the point. Here you will find the Ferry terminal and a large carpark dedicated for park visitors and fisherman.

The View

The playground is only small, but has some great concrete pathways surrounding it for kids who like to glide around on their scooter or take a trike along for the day.

The playground at Victoria Point Recreation Reserve has a Sandpit, swings, fort "AKA Pirate Lair" and a few other smaller activities.

This park has a beautiful grass area and if you are lucky enough, on a quiet day you can grab a parking space close by. You will also find car parks available at the rear of the park and the top of the hill. The stairway to the top carpark is a popular choice for fitness enthusiasts to tackle.

Victoria Point Recreation Reserve has:

Toilets & Water Bubblers
Plenty of Shade
Seating & Undercover Seating
Barbecue Facilities
Walking & Cycle Pathways
Nearby Ferry Terminal
- Access for Boats
- Beautiful Water Views
- Fish & Chip Shop [walking distance]

Universal Toilet Access

If your kids [or yourself] are Pokemon Go Enthusiasts you will be pleased to know the top car park hosts a Pokestop and the Jetty has a Gym. This is a highlight for Tweens who are losing interest in playground activities.

Public Transport is very accessible as commuters are coming through daily from the islands. For a bite to eat at the top of the hill you will find The Wishing Well Cafe , a fish & chip shop and a bait and tackle store.

I hope you enjoy your visit to Victoria Point Recreation Reserve, it's a beautiful spot.
