In the Moreton Bay area, specifically the Redlands, it is home to a few local delights of foreign potential. While most people, like myself who live here, don't think much of certain spots, one must remember to look at their own land as foreign and an even better description - exotic.
Spruce up your nightlife in Victoria Point with exquisite dining, nightlife and culture
In a local suburb called Victoria Point, north of Redland Bay and south of Thornlands, Cleveland and Capalaba, a stretch along a stunning man-made lake is quickly becoming a prime hang-out spot for young adults and the elderly alike.
Victoria Point Lakeside is lined with plenty of diversity in dining in with Hog's Breath, Fasta Pasta, a splendid Turkish restaurant and a pizza/pasta joint that will make your mouth water just by looking at the menu.
The main spot, becoming known by young adults looking for a fun but relaxed place to socialise is Elysium. Elysium by day offers great food, beautiful views of the lakeside and a get-together for families and young people alike. By night it is a dining/pub experience that has class and style. With their own photographer, DJ nights and themed events; Elysium is a prime place to visit whether you're a local to the Redlands or just passing by. Dress to impress and dance like no one is watching.
