Despite the country's blossoming economy, times are still tough for many of us and sometimes a trip to the movies, especially Gold Class, is a bit of a treat. If you're scraping together change from the couch, you'll be happy to know that there's one Gold Class cinema in Brisbane that provides the experience for less than $15.00.

(Bunker Road, Lakeside Centre, Victoria Point) is part of Cineplex Australia, a chain of cinemas showcasing the regular Hollywood blockbuster productions. The boasts the largest movie screen in Queensland, standing 22.5 metres high, and there are more than 1000 free car parks available to movie goers.

But the Cineplex differs from other cinemas in their aim to keep their prices amongst the lowest in Brisbane. A regular ticket will set you back $8.50 for an adult or $4.50 for a child, and drops even lower for Cheap Tuesday and weekday specials ($6.50 per adult.)

Special movie screenings are equally inexpensive. A Gold Class movie ticket is $12.50 for an adult, student or pensioner; as this is a licensed venue, children are not permitted. 3D movie tickets are $13.00 for an adult and $9.00 for a child and the price drops by $1.00 if the patron provides their own glasses. The snack bar prices are also lower than other cinemas.

Whatever your preferred movie experience, the presents a value for money venue.
