Dog Off-Leashed Area – Victoria Park

Whilst dogs must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas, there is a dedicated fenced area at Victoria Park where your four-legged furry friends can have fun and run around off leash. The double gated fence makes it extra secure for your dog.



Located just behind Alf Kele Memorial Rotary Park on Huish Drive Rockhampton, there is a dog park with a playground. There is no obstacle course for your dog but the fenced area is big enough to play throw and catch. There is no shade above this dog park, even though there is a big shady tree above one of the benches inside the gated area.



There is a drinking water fountain inside the dog park area. I could not see any plastic bags to pick up after your dogs, so just remember to come prepared or bring one before heading to this park. I tried to find signage showing the opening hours but I couldn't see any. There is a park light just near this dog park. I'm guessing that you can still use this dog park late afternoon or early evening when the weather is nice and cool.



There is an amenities block and plenty of parking spots on Huish Drive. Taking your dog to this dog park will send its tail wagging and filled with excitement.
