The Victor Harbor Rock 'N' Roll Festival will be running from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 September 2018. New this year, there'll be two official evening events on Warland Reserve with lots of undercover seating and heating. Grab your VIP Pass - a new initiative run by the Festival organisers. The ticket price of $20 plus booking fees for the Pass gets you entry to 2 ticketed evening events under the big marquee on Warland Reserve, Flinders Parade, Victor Harbor, plus you'll receive a range of discount offers from participating local businesses.
All online bookings will receive a free Meguiar's gift bag*, which will be ready for collection from the Info Tent at the Festival on Warland Reserve from midday Friday 14 September 2018. There is a *limit of 300 bags only and it'll be given to you upon presentation of your online booking receipt. Check online for the complete 2018 Festival Programme.
Fri 14 Sep starts at 10am with a vehicle display and Rock 'N' Roll Jukebox at McDonald's Victor Harbor car park, and runs till 1pm. Come evening from 7pm onwards, there's entertainment at Hotel Crown (free entry), Hotel Victor (free entry) and Pa's Fish Cafe ($20 cover charge) with a normal dinner menu available. It's also the date for the official welcome with The Runaway Boys and DJ Dave the Midnight Rocker on Warland Reserve, for which you'll need your VIP Pass ticket.
Sat 15 Sep sees the market stalls opening on Warland Reserve at 11am for some retail therapy, along with a Festival Cruise The Rockabilly Stage opens with DJ Jesse at 10.30am, followed by The Silverados at 11am and Memphis Suns at 1.40pm. The Rock 'N' Roll Stage opens simultaneously at 11am with DJ Rockin Roy, followed by Lefty Roulette and the Joint Jumpin' Hepcats at 11.30am and The Shakers at 2.10pm
Saturday evening functions at various venues from 4pm to 8pm sees performances from Puffin' Billy, Rock 'N' Roll Radio Hits, The Rhythym Cats, Lucky 7 & DJ Kenny and Sally & The Hired Help. It's also the night for Official Saturday Night Live with the Cadillacs and DJ Cockney Rebel all the way from the UK, for which you'll need that VIP Pass.
Sun 16 Sep is a day of market stalls, vehicle displays along with trophy presentations and entertainment on the Rockabilly Stage and Rock 'N' Roll Stage with DJ Jess and DJ Tommy Kaye respectively. Look forward to performances from Raunchy Sugar, The Satellites, The Lincolns and Honky Tonk Rockers (Melb.). Download that programme and start planning for some exciting events at a Festival that's grown to more than 14,000 visitors. If you don't think you're quite up to the skills of Rock 'N' Roll dancing, you can learn a few moves with South Coast Rockers SA at the Middleton Pioneer Hall. Sessions run for 4 weeks, and commenced on 2 August from 6.30-9.30pm.
