Vicini at Annandale makes way for great pizzas during the day and a relaxed Italian restaurant at night. The daytime pizzas are really something. This establishment knows how to make top notch wood oven fired pizzas, especially the margarita ones. The tomato sauce tastes like it is authentic and homemade, and for the cheese; it definitely does not taste cheddar like; more so tastes like swiss cheese. And for the herbs, they must use rosemary or basil. It doesn't matter. You would be forgiven for thinking that you are in Italy at any given moment.

The ambience is casual and laid back with a chic and contemporary vibe in a perfect locale. Furthermore their wine list is quite extensive, and whichever wine you get; it just blends in quite nicely with the pizza and even with pasta. You have to be in the mood for Italian food in a quiet and laid back establishment.

Expect great service, and this is one of Annandale's best establishments that makes way for a child friendly experience. Off hand, I believe that children can also eat free within a certain time frame. Great for families and couples in particular, yet a single person with a friend can also enjoy.
