Another great hotel to stay at. You would be extremely lucky to secure a view of Sydney Harbour. Whether it is a view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge or Lavender Bay, you're in Vibe heaven. Many of the guests staying at would prefer views of stunning Lavender Bay from their room. It can be a little noisy if you're closer to the train station, yet you get used to it after about 10 minutes or so.

I was fortunate to stay in a one-bedroom apartment room overlooking parts of Sydney Harbour and Lavender Bay. That's right, the best of both worlds. A pool and a spa is on level 2. In winter this area gets extremely chilly, yet provides an amazing backdrop, and a refreshing health and fitness experience in the warmer months. It is awesome walking underneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge. You're only a stone's throw away from Sydney Harbour Bridge, as well as the ferry to Circular Quay, Balmain Wharf and Darling Harbour to name. So central. For the kids, Luna Park is only a stone's throw away in this much sought after area. You have Milson's Point Train Station across the road, and you're only a short walk from the North Sydney CBD. Also, downtown Kirribilli has many great places to eat out at. It is advisable to order a breakfast package here. Their buffet breakfasts are just divine. Who needs breakfast in bed in that case. Their room service is still excellent.

This hotel would also be a handy place to stay at if you chose to compete in the annual Body and Soul Bridge Run events. This annual event is held every September, and this Vibe hotel is only a close stroll to the starting and warm up areas.

This hotel is also quite popular for those special occasions, and also for new years eve in Sydney. Why? You have the best vantage spots of the harbour bridge and the Darling Harbour fireworks. There is also plenty of action down at nearby Luna Park when Sydney comes out of the woodwork to celebrate, and to celebrate hard. If you plan on staying at this hotel during such times, it would be advisable to book in advance.

Speaking of eating out, their bar area near the check in desk and main lobby is stunning and elegant. I also enjoyed my buffet breakfast at Curves on level 1. As mentioned, I cannot emphasise this: their breakfasts are worth it. Well cooked chipolatas; flavoursome scrambled eggs with baked beans and cooked tomatoes. A variety of fresh fruit juices are sometimes available. A great oasis to catch up with friends. I have also been to a function or two here. Their function space isn't too bad either.

The décor is elegant, and the hotel is perfectly located. You're not far from the Northern Beaches and the Lower North Shore either. The hotel is actually quite central. For instance, there are two ways of getting to Manly from here. You can either catch the ferry to Circular Quay, and then hop on the iconic Manly Ferry. Otherwise a reliable bus service from Miller Street in North Sydney can take you to that way of the world as well. The working area is spacious, as well as the living area for some chill out space. I stayed in room 1206. Stunning.

I will be back. Excellent service. The staff are rather friendly and professional. I loved the coloured pillows/cushions in my room the last time I stayed here.
