This year, Frankston City's Ventana Festival celebrates "Women in the Arts" focusing on female artists and work about women.
Opening Night: Friday 23 February 2018
Meet newly-awarded international filmmaker for El Niño. Add to the large white dress visual art piece, be the first to witness an original art installation and performance by local and international artists exploring the theme of the white dress as a rite of passage. Marvel as the Mexican Day of the Dead Doll, Catrinas, comes alive and wanders through the crowd.
Where: Cube 37 and Frankston Arts Centre
Ventana Street Fiesta: Saturday 10 March, 12–8pm
The streets of Frankston spring to Latino life with a festival of music, colour, performance, family-friendly workshops and delicious street food.
