Looking to spice up your life without having to head overseas? Well, head on down to Frankston on Saturday 2 March 2019 between 2pm and 10pm for the vibrant and colourful Ventana Fiesta. Celebrate the wonderful Latin American, Portuguese and Spanish cultures and this year, the Fiesta will also be celebrating Indigenous cultures.
There will be plenty of live music and traditional dance performances, including a welcome concert from 6pm with Kutcha Edwards and Daniel Jauregui. Everyone is encouraged to join in and practice their salsa, cumbia and tango, until late, with The New Monos. So start getting those hips moving and a shaking.
Bar Espaņol, the Spanish Bar, will be open and there will be plenty of food trucks and authentic street food around serving up delicious dishes. Various food demonstrations will also be running, so stop by and pick up some tasty tips.
There will be plenty of ethnic craft and market stalls to browse and maybe pick-up a special gift for yourself or friends as well as art exhibitions For the kids, there will be activities and interactive workshops, so this really is a unique free cultural event for the whole family.
