Enjoy an afternoon of poetry and music at Grainger Studio this Saturday, 24th June 2017, as the
Adelaide Symphony Orchestra (ASO) and conductor Graham Abbott are joined onstage by author Christine V Courtney from 2.30pm to 4.30pm (doors open at 2pm) with their production titled
Venetian Voices - Poetry and music inspired by the City of Water .
Tickets are $50pp and include Coriole wine, Venetian antipasti and a copy of Christine V Courtney's historical publication titled
Venetian Voices (published by Wakefield Press RRP$49.95). Tickets can be purchased online (

here . In this beautifully bound hardcover of 176 pages, Christine V Courtney has selected some beautiful works of art, poetry and literature spanning the history of Venice from as early as 466AD. You'll be taken
'on a stroll over bridges and under cloisters, following Venetian locals and visitors as they pass through centuries'.
ASO's musical programme (conductor: Graham Abbott) is the perfect accompaniment to
Venetian Voices and is as follows:

Vivaldi: Concerto for strings RV 150
Wagner: Siegfried Idyll
Offenbach: Barcarolle from Tales of Hoffmann
