The award-winning hit show VELVET is a fantastic sensory overload, combining circus, cabaret and disco. It's funky, fresh and fun mixed with sizzling, steamy and sexy.



Coming to Perth for the first time as part of the Fringe World Festival 2017, the intoxicating show will bring the Spiegeltent alive at Fringe World Pleasure Garden in Northbridge.

Showcasing the sultry and sexy, legendary diva, Marcia Hines, the show combines an international ensemble of circus, cabaret and music talent under the guidance of musical director and mix master Joe Accaria.

Director Craig Ilott has created a hedonistic world, resembling New York's famous Studio 54 nightclub. Featuring the dreamy muscle man Stephen Williams, hula boy extraordinaire Craig Reid, skilful acrobat Mirko Köckenberger and sizzling aerialist Emma Goh, two new cast members will join Velvet for the 2017 tour: actor, singer Tom Oliver and Kaylah Attard, who joins returning cast member Rechelle Mansour as the two sassy sirens.



Proving to be a sensational festival success, the show has sold-out over the past two years at the Adelaide Fringe Festivals, Edinburgh Fringe, Brisbane Festival, Sydney Opera House and The Coopers Malthouse Theatre in Melbourne.
