It's Sunday, and it's a chilly morning. You woke up and scrolled through your phone. Nothing on today.
Now let me share with you something. Put up your casual clothing, ride your bike and pop into this annual secret vegetarian bazaar!
Yes, it is back on again! This year, you will be entertained with delicious vegetarian meals that are sold only twice a year. Every morsel made from scratch and utilizes Australian fresh produce, seasoned with heavenly spices.
Most importantly, in this bazaar, nothing over $8!
So what is on menu, you asked? Your $10 note will present you:
1. Main course $8 each
Explore various Indonesian traditional cuisine from Soto rice, Turmeric rice (with various side dishes included), Hainanese chicken rice, famous satay with spiced peanut sauce and rice cakes to many more. My personal choice will be 3 choices with rice and vegetarian chicken noodle!
2. Drinks $2 to $3 each
Forget about water (even though they will be provided for free as well)! Indulge in some traditional Asian drinks such as grass jelly and cendol. They are sweet (but not overly), creamy and thirst drench complimentary with your meal!
3. Dessert $3 to $4 each
Why not share with your friends some traditional dessert and sweets. That is if you can, because I know I won't! Ranging from savory to sweet choices, there is something for everybody. You won't be disappointed! Imagine sitting down, enjoying the buzz and indulge every bite of that cake.
So are you ready with your $10 note yet? Here are some more insider's tips: arrive early to sample all those choices and take away some more for Sunday dinner!
