It is that time of year again. As the New Year approaches many people plan to make some changes. The often broken (within hours), new year resolutions. A worldwide movement has started this January called Veganuary. Which is asking people to try vegan for the month of January. People everywhere are making a New Year's resolution to be kinder, healthier, and more sustainable by trying a vegan diet.

The start of a new year is the perfect time for new beginnings. And this January, people across the world will be able to discover how they can live happy, healthy lives without harming others. The idea is simple: try vegan for the month of January. This is a chance to give cruelty-free living a go with thousands of others — and without any pressure — to discover how easy and rewarding it can be.

Here are five main things to consider about giving a vegan diet a go:
Because we only have one planet.
Because we can live happy and healthy lives without harming others
Because it's delicious.
Because male dairy calves aren't 'waste products'.
Because male chicks shouldn't be disposable.
