Veganuary is well and truly upon us and many have plunged into swapping meat-based meals for delicious plant-based cuisine!

The website Veganuary is jam-packed with information recipe ideas and encouragement for those who would like to dabble into plant protein meals for January... and perhaps the rest of the year!

With an abundance of plant-based milk, beans and meat substitutes in supermarkets nowadays, it has never been easier to give veganism a try.

It's not always easy to gobble just the fruit and nuts from a heavy cheese laden platter, as yours truly did at a family gathering last night. However, if you are able to prepare a stunning plant-based dish to take along and share can not only eat but impress other dinner guests too!

Pictured is a stirfry cashew and vegetable dish, with a bed of noodles, that was enjoyed by all last night. So simple to prepare with ginger, garlic, maple syrup and splashes of Tamari soy sauce but so tasty.

So venture into Veganuary and try out some new recipes. You may just feel lighter, healthier and happier and put a smile on the dial of our animal friends too !
